WABO Charity Supports SPCA Melaka: 6 April 2026 Visit

WABO CHARITY · ACTIVITY RECAP

On 6 April 2026, WABO Charity 旺宝慈善团队 joined Oscar Production Reborn for an animal-care visit to SPCA Melaka. The shelter was the third stop in the team’s charity activities. This retrospective looks back at the food, supplies, kennel sponsorship and financial assistance provided during that visit.

The support covered several practical needs: food for the shelter, pet bathing supplies, kennels to help address damaged ones, and assistance towards neutering and vaccination costs for some dogs and cats. The activity brought together the delivery of everyday supplies and support for aspects of the animals’ ongoing care.

The team’s approximately 73-second video follows supplies being prepared, loaded into a small truck and delivered to the shelter. It also shows dogs and a cat in the shelter setting, with the SPCA Melaka sign visible towards the end.

Food, supplies and kennel support

For this visit, the team provided:

• 10 large bags of dog food
• 10 large bags of cat food
• 10 large bags of uncooked, bagged rice
• Pet bathing supplies
• Some chicken
• A goodwill angpow

The team also sponsored multiple kennels because some existing kennels were damaged. Alongside those contributions, WABO Charity provided financial assistance towards neutering and vaccination costs for some of the shelter’s dogs and cats.

About SPCA Melaka

According to its official website, SPCA Melaka was founded in 1990 and is based in Semabok, Melaka. Its work includes caring for abandoned and abused animals, providing shelter and treatment, promoting adoption, and encouraging responsible pet ownership.

That work continues beyond any single visit. Food and care supplies are part of the shelter’s everyday needs, alongside suitable accommodation and veterinary care. The April visit focused on contributing to several of those needs while bringing attention to the animals and the people caring for them.

Readers who want to learn about the shelter, adoption or its current needs can refer directly to SPCA Melaka’s official website. Checking with the shelter helps ensure any planned support is relevant to what it needs at the time.
