This is a historical football note about November 2024, not a current team update or match prediction. The original page was published on 26 November 2024.
Correcting the interview attribution
The earlier version said that WABO had spoken to Sergio Agüero, while its closing credit referred to material originally published by Stake.com. The available source information does not establish a WABO interview. That first-person attribution and quotations that could not be checked against an identified source have been removed.
The same review removed unrelated newsletter text and other unsourced or incomplete editing fragments. This page now retains only the limited, dated context supported below.
What Sky Sports reported that month
In a report by Kaveh Solhekol published on 13 November 2024, Sky Sports reported Agüero’s views on Manchester City’s difficult run. At that point, City had lost four consecutive games for the first time under Pep Guardiola and were five points behind Liverpool after 11 Premier League matches.
Sky reported that Agüero remained confident in his former club’s ability to win major trophies and emphasised the importance of the manager’s mentality. Those were his views at that time, rather than established outcomes or a guarantee about the season.
The limits of this archive
The previous page’s wider Premier League and La Liga question-and-answer sections are not retained as verified quotations. Restoring them would require the identifiable original interview and accurate attribution. Player roles, injuries, transfers and league standings in a 2024 discussion should not be read as current information.
For a separate explanation of football terminology, see the corner-kick guide. This archive does not recommend a wager or link a football opinion to a predicted return.
